Sports Boyfriend is an SMS service that sends you news about the teams you follow. By signing up you agree to what is on this page.

The messaging program

By sending your number or texting START, you agree to get recurring automated texts from Sports Boyfriend, 1–2 a day. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.

• Reply STOP to any message to stop all messages.
• Reply HELP to any message, or email help@sportsboyfriend.com, for help.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most US regional carriers.

Signing up

You must be at least 18 and the regular user of the phone you sign up with. You can sign up by texting START to our number from that phone, or by entering its number on our website. Entering someone else’s number is not allowed, which is why we text a number entered on the website to confirm before sending anything else.

What we do and do not promise

We work hard to get the facts right and to get them to you before they stop being useful, but this is sports information provided as-is. Do not use it as the sole basis for a wager, a fantasy lineup, or an argument you intend to win.

Price

Sports Boyfriend is free during the beta. If that changes we will tell you by text before charging you anything, and you will have to actively agree.

Ending it

You can leave at any time by replying STOP. We can end or change the service at any time, and will give notice by text if we do.
