Privacy

Short version: we collect your phone number so we can text you about sports, and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers.

What we collect

• Your mobile number, when you enter it on this site.
• The messages you send us and the messages we send you, kept as a record of your consent and so the service can hold a conversation.
• Your sports preferences, once you tell us about them.

Who else sees it

Two processors, both bound to use the data only to run this service: Telnyx, which delivers the text messages, and Supabase, which hosts the database. Mobile carriers necessarily handle the messages in transit. Nobody else.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it. Opt-out records are the exception: if you reply STOP we keep the record of that, because it is the proof that we stopped, and deleting it would put you at risk of being messaged again.

Getting out

Reply STOP to any message and the texts end immediately. To have your data deleted, email help@sportsboyfriend.com from any address and tell us the number.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your number, we will text you before the change takes effect.
